Campane ambrosiane: tradizione ed eleganza senza tempo

Le campane con ceppo ambrosiano sono senza ombra di dubbio la tipologia più ricercata, quella che si contraddistingue per lo stile elegante e per donare ad ogni campanile di chiesa e cattedrale importanza e valore.

Il ceppo di sostegno di una campana è la struttura in ghisa, legno o acciaio, che ha la funzione di reggerla. Il ceppo ambrosiano è quello più pesante ed è molto contrappesato per consentire alla campana di compiere oscillazioni più o meno lente, producendo rintocchi anche molto distanziati tra loro.

Questo ceppo consente di eseguire con facilità anche rotazioni di 180° anche dopo poche oscillazioni, ragion per cui il battaglio è agganciato più in alto rispetto all’altezza dei perni di rotazione, andando a colpire la campana nella parte bassa.
